Does Path of Exile 2 have voice chat or should we just use Discord?

Quick question for anyone playing PoE2 with friends: does Path of Exile 2 actually have proper in-game voice chat, or are people just using Discord like usual? I am trying to set up a party with two newer players and I do not want to explain three different apps if the game already handles it fine. Is in-game voice good enough for party play?

For casual party play, in-game voice can be fine if it is available and working for your group. But for serious bossing, trading, mapping, or helping new players, Discord is still the cleaner choice. Why Discord is usually better: 1. Easier device control. 2. Better noise suppression. 3. Less chance of party/session voice breaking. 4. Works before launching the game. 5. Easier screen sharing for builds and settings. If your group is new, test in-game voice first.
