Battle.net installation stuck at 89%, how do I make it move again?

Battle.net has been stuck at 89% for way too long. Download speed drops to nothing, then it just sits there pretending to work. Pausing and resuming did not help. I have enough disk space and my internet is fine. Other launchers download normally. Is there a way to fix the install without deleting everything and starting over?

Battle.net getting stuck around the end is usually cache, permissions, or scan/repair choking. Try this: 1. Pause the install. 2. Fully exit Battle.net from the system tray. 3. Run Battle.net as administrator. 4. Resume the install. 5. If still stuck, clear Battle.net cache folders. 6. Temporarily disable VPN/proxy. 7. Check antivirus quarantine/block history. 8. Change download region and resume. Also make sure the target drive is not almost full.
