- Gearing so the car actually uses its power
- Brake balance if you keep overshooting corners
- Differential tuning for grip vs rotation
For drifting, the setup changes hard. You usually want controlled oversteer, predictable throttle response, and gearing that keeps the car in the power band.
Basic upgrades are fine for casual play. But proper tunes are a big deal when you want consistency. A good tune makes the car feel like it listens instead of arguing with you every corner.
